CybiTech develops laser applications such as lidars for remote sensing and automotive automation applications for the global market. The intent is to create intelligent, stable, compact, reliable systems with long life in a small form factor. For remote sensing, ground-based polarization lidar systems consisting of single-color (CPL1) and two-color systems (CPL2) are under development, while airborne lidars are planned. These long-range systems are based on short-pulse solid-state lasers with single photon detectors and high-resolution timers, while the short-range systems are based on diode lasers.
CybiTech manufactures automated high precision (sub-arcsec) Alt-Az tracking systems using very compact telescopes for laser and astronomy applications. This is based on carbon fiber trusses or aluminum ones. These telescopes (apertures from 20 to 1000 mm) can take payloads, including smaller co-aligned telescopes, to support various scientific applications such as laser ranging, laser communications, astronomy, and other applications. The small telescopes can also be mounted on mobile platforms with anchoring capabilities for better positioning.
